Hookson have just launched a new branding project for Lewis Sutton, the Edinburgh based Property Consultants. Lewis Sutton specialise in Retail, Leisure, Hotel and Student Housing in the occupational, development and capital markets across the UK and Ireland. The firm also provides acquisition, disposal and asset management advice across a variety of market sectors including private clients, property companies, investors, operators and retailers.
We were asked to create a logo with impact and with memorability to standout in the sector for the new entrant. We needed to develop a brand position that demonstrated confidence in approach and could sit comfortably alongside any of its multi-national competitors.
Having built a great understanding of the property development sector and the various audiences which are faced, Hookson is well informed to tackle the branding challenge. Over the years we have tackled branding both sites for commercial and residential purposes and other marketing challenges faced by the sector.
We created a simple typographic symbol interlinking the two company letters and using two colourways, a vivid gold-orange and blue. The collateral we produced was simple, elegant and bold.
The branding project has included brand identity, stationery suite and electronic templates. It is also being applied to a website which is to be launched soon.
