International design consistency

New design guidelines for Heriot-Watt University

Edinburgh based University Heriot-Watt required a new design to provide consistency across all marketing communications for the University. Not only nationally, but also internationally.

Taking our inspiration from the Heriot-Watt University logo, we created the ‘Pennant’ – a simple device that can be easily implemented across everything, yet still allow differentiation when used across the various campuses and schools that make up the University.

The way this pennant can be used is both varied and widespread, and has been incorporated into the wealth of design material that the University produces globally, including; prospectuses, design collateral, press and online advertising.
