Awards success for The University of Edinburgh internal communications campaign

Internal Communications HEIST Award

We are delighted that The University of Edinburgh has been awarded at the 2014 HEIST Awards. The ‘On the Same Page as You’ campaign, developed by Hookson working with the Student Communications team was awarded Bronze in the Best Internal Communications category.

The ‘On the Same Page as You’ campaign was launched in 2013 and was commended for its innovative approach to enabling new dialogue between University staff and the student body.

It aims to ensure students understand that the University cares about them and acts on their feedback to ensure they have the best possible experience at Edinburgh.

We are now working with the University of Edinburgh’s Student Communications team in developing the next phase of the internal communications campaign. This phase of activity will be a ‘You Said, We Listened’ campaign, which will be launched this month to promote School- and University-level actions that have been undertaken as a result of student feedback. We’re currently developing lamp post wraps as well as a series of posters that will promote some of the successful outcomes of the campaign.

The annual Heist Awards recognise and celebrate professionalism, expertise and innovation in communications and marketing in the UK further and higher education sectors.
